I have 19 years of experience in protein design, expression, purification, fill/finish, and analytical development in support of in process assays along with an understand of PK/PD animal models and clinical development. I led projects ranging from R&D to supporting commercial manufacturing. I combine my expertise of biology and business to provide effective solutions to challenging programs.

I think I have the work experience that you need for this position because I have worked in the biologics industry for more than 15 years in the LATAM area with hands on experience in scientific research ( Leloir Foundation), tissue engineering ( Craveri SAIC), recombinant human proteins ( Amega Biotech) and vaccines( Biogenesis Bago). I have a degree in biological sciences . Very early in my career I started to work in Leloir foundation as an under graduate scientific research in the area of signal transduction in mammalian cells. I worked there for five years where I had the opportunity to participate in scientific publications. Then I decided that I wanted to start a career in the biotechnological Industry so I started working for the bioengineering department in a pharmaceutical company called craveri laboratories. We performed applied research work through tissue engineering techniques . Then I worked for a company called Amega biotech during 12 years. Amega is an organization devoted to produce recombinant proteins (Biosimilars) for the pharmaceutical industry. I was the head of cell line development , bioprocess and new technolgies in the R&D department .I was actively involved in the coordination of projects that led to the development of biosimilars that are now the pipeline of the company. Then together with some colleagues we created a Start up project of a consultancy services company devoted to R & D for the biopharmaceutical industry with special focus on Latam and emergent markets. The company name is BDCG ( Biologics development consulting group). Finally I am now working for a veterinary Biotech company called Biogenesis Bago as a Technology transfer leader. My responsabilities includes the coordination of a cross functional team challenged to optimize the process and facilities for the production of veterinary vaccines (FMD, rabies). So together with my personnel skills I am confident that I could implement the necessary strategies and built the technical credibility that you are looking for to support the consulting process in the bioproduction market.

I have been working in the Biologics industry for over 10yrs, with my last role being Business Unit Head for Mammalian Manufacturing at Lonza, one of the Largest CMO's in the world for Biologics.
